Release Updates

What is coming next, and what has already released

Coming Expected: October 15, 2026

Teacher dashboard, directly from Google Drive

At present, if a teacher wants to view and compare dozens of students' writing processes, they must download each student's process report and load them at once in our dashboard page. The new feature will place a button in Google Drive folders that contain Google Docs, allowing teachers to view all the process reports for those Docs in a writing process dashboard, at once, in just a few clicks.

Here are some highlights:

  • Places a button in Google Drive
  • Loads up to a few hundred documents at once
  • Works 100% locally, similar to the 'Writing Process Report' option

Timeline view of paste activities

Currently, our paste events section in the report only shows a table view of the paste activities. A new timeline view will provide a more intuitive way to visualize and analyze these activities over time. Clicking on a paste event in the timeline will scroll to the Compare Two Moments section to view the details.

Moodle plugin

An admin-installed plugin that brings writing process reports into Moodle assignments and discussion forums. No browser extensions, no student accounts.

Once a Moodle administrator installs the plugin, a "See your writing process" panel appears automatically inside every assignment submission page and discussion forum.

See the Moodle plugin page for how it works and what it stores.
